Chairman Liu Jianwu of Ante Group Attends Sri Lanka Investment, Trade and Tourism Forum

The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the the Belt and Road Initiative. Over the past 10 years, the joint construction of the the Belt and Road has not only built bridges and ties for win-win cooperation and people to people ties for a community with a shared future for mankind, but also become a popular platform for international cooperation.

As a pioneer of the Silk Road, a practitioner of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, and an important participant in the country's "going global" strategy, Ante Group has never forgotten its original intention, kept its mission in mind, and has always seized the opportunity to take the lead in foreign exchanges.

On October 16, at the invitation of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in China, Liu Jianwu, Chairman of Ante Group, attended the China Sri Lanka relations milestone and investment, trade and tourism forum held in Beijing to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the "the Belt and Road" initiative.

The dignitaries attending this forum include Sri Lankan President Vikramasingha, Foreign Minister Sabri, Minister of Transport and Highways, Minister of Media and Cabinet Spokesperson Gunawalatna, Chairman of the Ministry of Investment and Chairman of the Port City Economic Committee Veracodi, Central Bank Governor Verasingha, and diplomats.

At the forum, Liu Jianwu, Chairman of Ante Group, asked the expert group about Sri Lanka's strategic layout and planning in the field of new energy, as well as future cooperation in trade and cultural tourism between China and Sri Lanka, and received full recognition and support.

After the forum, President Vikramasingha and members of the expert group had a friendly conversation with Chairman Liu Jianwu. Chairman Liu Jianwu thanked President Vikramasingha for his warm reception and reported on the development achievements of Ante Group in Sri Lanka over the past 18 years. He also introduced the current projects that the company is actively promoting in Sri Lanka. Chairman Liu Jianwu stated that Ante Group will leverage its expertise in the fields of electricity and cultural tourism, engage in extensive cooperation with the Sri Lankan government, enterprises, and various sectors of society, and contribute to the economic and social development of Sri Lanka, contributing to the long-standing friendship between China and Sri Lanka.

President Vikramasingha welcomes Chairman Liu Jianwu to participate in the Sri Lanka Investment, Trade and Tourism Forum. He affirmed the outstanding contributions made by Ante Group to the Sri Lankan power industry and hoped that both sides would carry out comprehensive cooperation in areas of common concern in the future.
